Wolf-Gordon Captures the Essence of Rare Minerals Releases Collaboration with Brenda Houston

New York, NY – Wolf-Gordon collaborated with designer and artist Brenda Houston on Geological Finds, a collection of digital wallcoverings that expose the unique layers and colors of rocks and minerals. Houston, an expert on rare minerals who incorporates them into art and accessories of all kinds, created the wallcoverings by enlarging digital images of fossils, wood, and stone. The murals give unique impressions when viewed in different colorways and at various scales, bolstering Wolf-Gordon’s Curated Collection with a unique opportunity to explore nature and offer it in bespoke patterns.

Wolf-Gordon Introduces MATTER by Mae Engelgeer High Performing Wool Blend Textiles Feature Texture

Wolf-Gordon showcases the evolution of Dutch designer Mae Engelgeer’s craft with the release of the MATTER collection, an upholstery series that offers new luxury in commercial fabrics with an unparalleled visual appeal. Three patterns—Mass, Merge and Points—convey the tension between what is expressed as design via surface texture and the less revealed depth of concept, reminiscent of what is perceived behind a veil. The interplay of high loft wool blend yarns with chic metallic filaments makes for a visually rich and tactile collection, complemented by intricate detailing, geometric and organic forms.

Wolf-Gordon Presents Folio 50th Anniversary Installation at NeoCon®

New York, NY – Folio, Wolf-Gordon's 2017 NeoCon® installation, celebrates the company's 50th Anniversary via a display of its commercial wallcovering and upholstery partnerships with leading international designers, and its recently published monograph, Wolf-Gordon: Sample Book. Folio will appear on the main floor of The Mart in Chicago during NeoCon, June 11-14. This year marks Wolf-Gordon’s sixth consecutive sponsorship of main floor space for the installation of a public art/design project.

Wolf-Gordon’s New Surfacing Collection Contract 02 Celebrates The History Of Printmaking

New York, NY – Inspired by printmakers and their centuries-old processes, Wolf-Gordon’s new Contract 02 collection is released in conjunction with the company’s 50th anniversary. A nod to Wolf-Gordon’s own long exploration of material tactility, this collection consists of Type II and III wallcoverings with 16 patterns focusing on intricate surfaces and beautiful textures.

New York, NY – After spending nearly 30 years across the East River in Long Island City, Queens, Wolf-Gordon has returned its corporate headquarters to Manhattan. The new office, designed by Lewis.Tsurumaki.Lewis (LTL Architects), is located at 333 Seventh Avenue in Chelsea.

Wolf-Gordon’s Office_Excavate Rethinks Office Interactions at NeoCon® 2016 

New York, NY—Wolf-Gordon, the source for contract textiles and wallcovering, will open Office_Excavate, a custom made lounge area for the attendees of NeoCon® 2016, taking place June 13-15 at Chicago’s Merchandise Mart. Located between elevator banks on the first floor of the Mart, Office_Excavate puts the emphasis on Wolf-Gordon’s extensive and beautiful collection of upholstery textiles while poetically deconstructing the formerly cubicle-driven office block and transforming it into an inviting and flexible space in which to work and interact.

Wolf-Gordon to introduce the Mae Engelgeer collection during Salone del Mobile 2016

New York, NY—American design company Wolf-Gordon introduces a collection of eight interior surfacing products created in collaboration with Amsterdam-based textile designer, Mae Engelgeer. The collection, comprising four upholstery, one drapery textile, and three digital print wallcoverings, will be previewed in Space G5 at Spazio Rossana Orlandi during the Salone Internazionale del Mobile (April 12-17, 2016) in Milan.

Artist Charlotte Mann Creates a Site-Specific Installation on Wink

Brooklyn, NY—To celebrate the act of drawing—and erasing—Wolf-Gordon commissioned British artist Charlotte Mann to render a large-scale drawing on Wink, clear dry-erase coating. Inspired by sites seen in the Gowanus area of Brooklyn, Mann's drawing was installed on a wall of the Gowanus Souvenir Shop, which was painted and coated with Wink. Erasing is Leaving a Mark will be on view from March 2nd through March 13th at the Gowanus Souvenir Shop, located at 543 Union Street, Brooklyn.

New York, NY—For the fourth consecutive year, Wolf-Gordon will bring a dramatic, site-specific installation to the “town center” of Chicago’s Merchandise Mart during NeoCon®, June 15-17, 2015.  Since 2012, Wolf-Gordon’s innovative structures have graced the space above the 1st to 2nd floor escalator, welcoming attendees and celebrating the industry’s creativity. With SLICE, Wolf-Gordon takes a step forward, inviting escalator riders to become a part of its creative process.

Wolf-Gordon to Introduce Tjep.Cubism during Salone del Mobile 2015

New York, NY—For the first time ever, American design company Wolf-Gordon will present a branded collection of products to an international audience at the Salone Internazionale del Mobile in Milan, April 14-19, 2015. Wolf-Gordon and Dutch designer Frank Tjepkema of Tjep. will debut Tjep.Cubism, a collection of interior surfacing materials that includes four wallcoverings, an upholstery textile, and a sheer drapery textile.

Wolf-Gordon Previews Overlay/Underlay
New Collection by Kevin Walz at NeoCon 2014

New York, NY—Wolf-Gordon will debut Overlay/Underlay by artist and designer Kevin Walz, a collection of wallcoverings that explore two-sidedness in a distinctly painterly way. Walz has utilized translucent inks for visual richness, replicating the effect of paint seeping through canvas from the other side. While taken through serialized manufacturing, these geometric designs retain a sense of craft, evoking silkscreen or block print.

Wolf-Gordon Launches Woven Upholstery 01 at ICFF 2014

New York, NY&nmdash;Wolf-Gordon will introduce Woven Upholstery 01, a collection of new textiles, at the International Contemporary Furniture Fair (ICFF), May 17-20, 2014, at The Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York, booth #1332. To encourage show visitors to experience the visual and textural qualities of the new upholstery products, Wolf-Gordon is transforming the booth into a spacious lounge area with a generous, long sofa upholstered in 9 different textiles.
